About the Event
Join the MCA for an after-hours reception to celebrate with this year’s Chicago Performs artists and look forward to the upcoming season ahead. Enjoy cocktails at a cash bar while listening to music by local DJ Zeetus Lapetus.
This event is free for anyone with tickets for Chicago Performs. Enter at the Marisol entrance on the corner of Pearson Street and Mies van der Rohe Way. Upon arrival, show your electronic or printed tickets.
Chicago Performs supports artists who are entering a new phase of their practice and offers the public an unprecedented chance to witness the city’s groundbreaking performance artists in action.

Zeetus Lapetus (they/them) is THE Intergalactic Funk DJ of Chicago. Zeetus brings the fun and deep cuts to the dance floor and has been enjoyed by hundreds of people over the last few years. Voted one of Chicago’s top 3 house DJs in 2022, Zeetus is also a beloved community member known to bring folks together. They’ve played many major venues in Chicago (Lincoln Hall, Navy Pier, Cersei Rooftop, Empty Bottle, etc.) and have been on The Lot Radio in New York. Zeetus is known for making an audience feel like they are boarding a spaceship and partying in a celestial disco!
