About the Event

Presented in partnership with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), /Dialogues brings together leading curators, artists, designers, and arts professionals for a series of panel discussions, forums, and artistic discourse on topics of the moment, including institution building and public art.

The 2023 /Dialogues stage presents BUILDING MUSEUMS OF THE FUTURE, a conversation with Madeleine Grynsztejn, Pritzker Director of MCA Chicago, alongside Dimitris Daskalopoulos, NEON founder and collector, and artist Brendan Fernandes, for a discussion on creating greater access to contemporary art, how collections can impact contemporary institutions, and the role collector/philanthropists can play in advancing artistic practices.

This panel is presented in partnership with the Musuem of Contemporary Art Chicago and ARTNews.

The Museum Loop Shuttle departs approximately on the hour from:
Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago | corner of Chicago Ave and Mies Van der Rohe Way
and makes stops at:
Art Institute Chicago | Modern Wing Entrance
EXPO CHICAGO | Navy Pier–Entrance 2 and loops back to MCA
