About the Event

The MCA’s School Partnership for Art and Civic Engagement program, also known as SPACE, is a partnership with Chicago Public Schools that embeds artists and their studio practices inside Chicago public high schools. At this event, artist-in-residence Gloria “Gloe” Talamantes shares her artistic journey, explores her experience within the program, and presents her findings on the transformative power of arts integration in education and community building.
