About the Event
Enjoy a pawsitively fun morning where everyone is a wiener.
Join more than 300 doggies and their people—from the Wheel of Fur-tune to a furry Italian Beef, from an UBER EATS driver to a prison break—in your most elaborate costumes for the 37th annual Streeterville Doggy (and Kitty) Halloween Costume Party and Parade, hosted at the MCA! Registration and leashes and/or carriers are required.
The event begins at 9 am with the Doggy Parade kicking off at 9:45 am, judged by 2nd Ward Alderman Brian Hopkins and Streeterville resident and animal lover Maureen Schulman. Prizes awarded to every pawticipant. Make sure to bring a dog toy for the prize swap.
Have a kitty at home? Upload pics of your feline friend to our Facebook page for our Virtual Cat Costume Contest.
Rain Date: Sunday, October 27, 2024, same time.
I never imagined that the Halloween Dog Parade would have grown from a few neighborhood doggies meeting up at the tennis courts in costumes to such a big community happening. Our neighborhood really loves its pets.
— Rosalee Harris, Streeterville resident and cofounder of the Halloween parade
